Fender Telecaster
Prior to the robbery of the bands equipment in Denver, Thom used a fender telecaster with a white pichguard. Nowadays, Thom uses all-black fender telecasters for most of the live songs (e.g. 'Just' and 'My Iron Lung'). They include a two-humbucker vintage '72 custom deluxe telecaster.

Thom's guitars have been highly modified by the bands technician Plank and have been rewired to keep eerything as direct as possible. The tone knob was remoed and replaced by a jack, to prevent the lead from falling out













Gibson SG
A firm favourite of Thom's, the Gibson SG was used in the Pablo Honey era, however these days its not seen at live concerts, but still seems to be used while in the studio

















Fender Jazzmaster
Thom uses a black eletric Fender guitar with a white pickguard which can be seen on live performances of songs such as 'Street Spirit' and 'Airbag'

















Rickenback 330
Thom can be seen using a standard Rickenback 330, the fireglo model, during live performances of songs including 'The Bends' and 'Lucky'.


















Gibson ES-125T
Thom has recently started using this electris guitar, a Gibson ES-125T for live performance of songs containing light distortion. It can be seen during renditions of 'There There' while a slightly different model seems to be used for 'Go To Sleep'. Thom has also started using this guitar live for 'Street Spirit' instead of the Jazzmaster
